They are made from a tropical bog wood called Albesia and
from a proven sustainable source - all trees must have a license before being cut.
Approximate sizes are:
Giraffe 1 40 cms x 10 cms
Giraffe 2 30 cms x: 8 cms
Giraffe 3 20 cms x 8 cms
These carvings are purchased from a BAFTS recognised supplier (British Association for Fair Trade Shops) and the craftsmen receive up to 4 times more pay for their work.
