Each elephant is individually handcarved from solid Suar wood by a talented craftsman in Bali, Indonesia.

 

Elephant is approximately sizes 11 cms  x 8 cms (4¼ x 3¼ inches) .

 

These carvings are purchased from a BAFTS recognised supplier (British Association for Fair Trade Shops) and the craftsmen receive up to 4 times more pay for their work.

All woods used are from a proven sustainable source - all trees must have a license before being cut.
