All of our Russian nesting sets (including blanks and kits) are authentically made in Russia using seasoned wood (Chinese sets often use inferior wood that cracks easily).
The sets are painted by experienced, skilled artists and this is reflected in the superior quality and finish (the experience of the artist can often be seen by the quality of the painted faces).
Our St Petersburg supplier is committed to providing fair trade ethics and principles in his studio.
Our other sets are purchased directly from the artists in villages on the outskirts of Moscow.
