Our authentic Russian sets are painted by experienced, skilled artists and this is reflected in the superior quality and finish.
They are hand-turned using lime or birch seasoned wood to form the shape and then passed to the artists who hand decorate them in their own individual styles.
Our St Petersburg supplier is committed to trading fairly and provides good working conditions, good salaries and enhanced employee benefit packages in his studio. Our other sets are purchased directly from the artists in villages on the outskirts of Moscow.
N.B. these sets are ornamental and, due to small parts, should not be given as toys to young children.
