This beautifully handcarved rectangular hinged wooden casket has an intricately carved flower pattern on the lid.

It is made from Shesham wood (part of the rosewood family), managed from sustainable forests.

The box seems impossible to open with no handle or visible catch until you locate the hidden panel that slides to the left to open the box lid.

 

Practical but great fun!

The box is approximately 20 x 14 cms, is beautifully carved and has a plain wood interior.
